The Curtiss OX-5 powered Travel Airs, Birds, Wacos, Commandaires, Krieder-Reisners, American Eagles and others. This engine, along with the OXX, OX-2 an the air-cooled Tank version, was the power plant of choice for a number of early aircraft from WWI through 1930. This book details this history and many of the aircraft that used this famous engine.
